HOW TO GET A PART TIME JOB




Recently there are lots of students are approaching part time job during when they are studying .   While academics are always important ,money can be an issue when it comes to a full schedule. Now there are so many ways available for getting part time job. students can choose which they are more interesting. and also getting part time job is a great way to build your resume and earn money .you can find part time job through college , online part time jobs , or in person . nowadays colleges are promoting students part time jobs,because the life style is changing through the students . 

1 –Make a list of employers who are hiring part time jobs 

Whether you are in college or just looking for a part time job there  are plenty of places to find openings. Look around online ,at your college or even inquire in person
-Be sure that the employers is hiring for immediate placement and not just taking your application
-Go to a job fair at your college or look on your college website . many universities have a jobs section where employers can post part time jobs for students .
-look for jobs that both interest you and hire people like you. if you are a student ,a lot of part time jobs can be found in the retail and service industry .These types of jobs typically good for a flexible schedule and don’t always require a lot of experience.
-so many sites are available in internet about the part time job which they are interesting.

2 –make a list of your interesting subject/ work 

Once you’ve gathered a list of employers who are hiring , make a  list if your favorites . Though you may need a job to pay the bills , you should choose only the section which your most favorite  
-After you have your list ,do a little bit of research. find out what the job functions and requirements are .check to see if you know anyone who works there  .These people can give you insight on the job and help you get an interview
-make sure , the company is genuine .

3-Make sure your online presence is professional

Just as your potential employer ,be prepared for your potential employer to research you. clean up online presence .
-This goes beyond simply making your social profile private .while making your profiles private to unwanted visitors is within your rights and should be exercised ,some employers become wary of this and suspect you are hiding something .like your social network sites whichever you are using .
-should be remove your personal interest like politics,private issues . 
-Go through your profiles and delete posts and photos of you that might hurt to you getting a job . a good rule of thumb is not have anything your grandmother wouldn’t like . this may be tedious , but it can be the difference between paying rent and having no job.

4-Being apply 

 Fill out any information your potential employer requires ,whether through an online form on paper .Employers are aware of the limited work experience many high school and college students have ,so do not worry about possessing each requirement. Since you’ve researched the job ,your resume will be updated to reflect your best skills and experience  for the job .
-create the CV is in interesting and unique,
-now the video model CV s are more using via interview time .  
-provide as much information you can . if you are applying on paper , write legibly to avoid confusion for your employer .
-Don't add too much about personal information . 
-if you are asked for a cover letter , write one specifically for the job to which you are applying

5-Dressing should be formal 

if you land an interview ,this is your next step to getting hired . when the employer contacts you for an interview ,its ok to politely ask how you should dress .most part time jobs don’t require you to dress for an interview in anything nicer than clean professional cloths .
-men should consider pants that are not jeans ,nice shoes , a button down shirt ,tie, and maybe even a blazer
-women should consider a nice like sari .. don't wear tight jean and t shirt
-color should be in light .don't use bright color ,like red etc

6-make a good impression  

in addition to showing up on time , which is early , you want your potential employer that you’re the right person for the job throughout the whole interview .shake hands and keep eye contact .be polite ,and speak clearly .
-keep pleasant atmosphere while your interview time 
- when you introduce your self , make eye contact .keep your body language friendly and relaxed .
-keep smile . it will create good impression .
-don't speak more about your personality
-first you should listen what they saying
