Part time / Freelancing

 

 Free time can be insufficient but when expenses pile up quickly, a part-time job is a good way to offset costs while ensuring there’s enough time left over for both academics and extracurriculars.


  For some students, having a job along with studies is a transitional experience and for others it marks their entry into the adult workforce and the beginning of a difficult path towards self sufficiency. It can indeed provide a valuable experience for students as it teaches responsibility, develops organizational and time management skills  and can help save money so as one can stand independent. In addition to that, students can learn the value of money. Students will realize that it takes a lot time and effort to make a living, and this experience will enrich them with confidence.


College -to- career is one of the most difficult pathway. Yet one of the best moments to try initial careers is student time. Indeed, this is the best period in human’s life to absorb knowledge and learn experience. A student that can maintain a part-time job gain excellent  experience that cannot be gained from the classroom.


Working and learning can result in better education and stronger career prospects for students. you can use your  part-time job to get an introduction to a career or area of interest that you hope to go into after college. The experience will help you stand out from the crowd at interview; you can begin networking with others in your chosen field. One of the ways that has been followed up by everyone is online networking, where it can be helpful when job hunting.

                                                                                                      

During the former days, students had been focusing only on studies  and part time jobs were not heard of. Today  students  the world over  have been engaging in part time jobs. It is as essential to further you in your future career path. Most jobs asks for little or no experience, are easy to obtain and add to your future resume , for when you do apply for jobs that require previous experience later on in your career. Even if you work in an unrelated field, the experience can help you develop highly desirable professional skills.
